Deeply creative and always pushing his boundaries, Hyunjin is not only a singer in Stray Kids but also a dancer and rapper who adds his voice to the group’s sound. Hwang Hyun‑jin was born on March 20, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea. While he was still in middle school, he was noticed by a talent scout from JYP Entertainment during a shopping trip with his mother—even though he had never formally trained in dance, singing, or rap at that time.
For his secondary education, Hyunjin attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA), where he majored in Practical Dance and graduated on February 15, 2019. After finishing high school, he enrolled at Global Cyber University, where he studied in the Department of Practical Language.
