Owen Shroyer was born in 1989 in St. Louis, Missouri, to his mother Annette Shroyer. He went to Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis. After high school, he attended university in Missouri where he studied media and psychology.

Career

Owen Shroyer began his media career working as a radio host in St. Louis for stations such as KXFN and KFNS. In 2016, he joined the online platform InfoWars, where he took on roles both behind the scenes and on camera, eventually hosting the show “The War Room With Owen Shroyer”.

During his time at InfoWars, Shroyer became involved in several high profile controversies. For instance, he was named in a lawsuit in Texas stemming from comments made on air about the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which eventually led to large financial judgments against InfoWars. His commentary and presentation style drew both attention and criticism as his platform grew.
